And busy! Holidays, Ichicbancon (Thanks for having us!! It was a blast), late Winter storms and day jobs have delayed us from doing much of anything lately crafty. But we are working on new and creative things- and planning to be at some places near you soon! Thanks to Ichibancon's staff for having us again this year- we look forward to what you guys amaze us with next year! So we are going to definately be at these cons: April 5th, 2014- Lexing-con. Ymca, Lexington, NC. Con runs till 4 and then the con invades the bowling alley for some cosmic bowling. This is a one day event for charity. Any money collected will be donated to local food banks. 12 and under- free, anyone coming in costume is free, otherwise its a dollar admission. While you are in our great city of Lexington- Stop in and have some delicious BBQ- The Demonik Creations crew Highly suggests Speedy's on Highway 8. April 26th, 2014- ASU's NERD CON- Boone, NC. ASU Plemmons student Union. ASU's Nerd Network is Hosting NERD CON for the 4th year. Its a free one day convention that hosts panels, a dealers room/artist alley and game room. Its good fun every year and ASU has some of coolest people in the nicest places ever. Hope to see everyone out there to have a great day in the mountains! May 23-25th,2014- Animazement. Raleigh, NC. Raleigh Convention Center- We are excited to be in Animazement's artist alley for the 2nd time ever. We have attended AZ for years and really enjoy the con. Hope to see everyone there. And I think that is pretty much it so far for con scheduling at the moment- we'll update as we get more in. We are also considering a small retail space at a local store, we are still in discussion about that at the moment- but we do have a online retail store via Etsy ( and we love etsy): Demonik Creations Like us on facebook too! We love Likes! Also a Bragging moment here- The Small Army that sometimes you see working our table at cons have branched out their wings to try art themselves. They entered the Chair City art contest- where Aiden got honorable mention and the other troops (plus mini trooper- he is the beloved little cousin) picked up certificates for participating. There was some tough competition and we are all proud of the all the Small army for trying new things.

While we were not in artist alley this year- we were all in attendance . Congratulations to our own Spookloops for winning first place in the Craftsman ship competition in the Journeyman category. Thank You to the commissioners who gave us the opportunity to work on their costumes this year! Your business is always appreciated :)
Hello friends! With the dreary weather here in NC, I had some time to stock a few items into Josh's etsy shop including the popular Nyan cat scarf. There are a few more cooler days till spring arrives- its never too late to get a nice warm scarf. Also Etsy seems to be a good platform for both artist and buyer- very easy to use. We'll be putting more stuff there as time goes by so check us out often :)
We will be attending AZ this year but as con goers instead of Artist alley participants it seems but that is ok- seems Josh and Spook are going to be working on pulling off a stellar cosplay so if you see us stop and say hi! Hope to see everyone there! - Christina ( web Wow time is really flying. We have been working like busy bees here to get ready for Hoshicon (Easter weekend) and Animazement (memorial day weekend). We've added a new tab for a Cosplay clinic page and come see the new Akatsuki coat on Josh's cosplays page. It was a commission that Josh enjoyed making and is pretty proud of. Spook has been working on some new and exciting stuff as well, we still have quite a few things to add to the site as we finish them. Also to the tune of being thankful-we have added a spot under "The Usual Suspects" for our accomplices that have helped us on various projects. We have some very exciting projects that we are going to be posting soon :)
We have a half table in the Mezzanine area at Animazement- we hope everyone going comes by to say hello :) Thanks for reading! It's been a while since we updated this blog but that is because we are also so busy working on creative new things for the artist alley table! Time for Hoshicon and AZ is almost upon us and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there :)
Please check out Josh's other creations for some of the new things that we will have at AZ and Hoshicon this year. We have included in the update our small experiment in steampunk, some neat necklaces, and hair accessories. Hope everyone is having a great day!!! |
